Average Directional Index (ADX) adalah indi yang cukup dikenal sebagai alat untuk mengukur kekuatan trend. ADX dipopuler pada tahun 70-80an oleh Welles Wilder. Ketika dikombinasikan dengan DI+ dan DI-, ADX juga dapat menghasilkan signal BUY atau SELL.

Penerjemahan ADX

Tujuan ADX adalah untuk menunjukkan apakah market sedang trending atau berada dalam area trending. Sehingga, hal pertama yang harus kita ingat adalah, ARAH jangan diterjemahkan sebagai BUY atau SELL, namun ARAH menentukan KEKUATAN TREND. Naiknya ADX = STRONG UPTREND dan naiknya ADX = STRONG DOWNTREND.

ADX < 20 : Non Trending Market
ADX > 20 dan ADX < 40 : Terdapat trend yang sedang bergerak. BUY atau SELL tentukan dengan indi anda, namun jangan gunakan indi Oscilator (seperti RSI)
ADX > 40 : Trend kuat
ADX > 50 : Trend Extrim

Apa alasannya tidak boleh menggunakan indi oscilator mas?

 

ADX is one of my favourite indicators.

 

Saya sering dengar ini namama indikator tapi ane belum menggunakan indi ini, mungkin karena lebih suka yang smiple saja hanya dengan membaca chart pattern menggunakan candlestick sebagai bahan analisa dan indikator di beberapa tf

 

 
Here is how I use customize ADX with peak, the simplified version of ADX.
I'm not use ADX's blue line, just using crossing line of green & red (green & black on below image)
Because too much will confusing, and I'm not trade this style on high timeframe .. So, the candlestick pattern will useless, too much fake signal.

Hola Kise FX !!!la idea no esta mal!! pero para que se aliñen todos los tiempos, te tienes que pasar un rato!!mi opinion es que tendríamos que agarrar lo maximo posible en el menor tiempo posible, y disfrutar del día!!me puedes enviar el indicador Peak, y te explico una tecnica acorto plazo, un saludo!!
