Hi how can i use your bot or any bot to open trades only long and only short in two diferents charts, thanks i was searching the answer for myself two months ago

 

In the settings of *every* ea (second tab) you can set the direction (only long, only short, both).
To trade same pairs in different charts it is usually necessary to change magic numbers of the ea in each chart.

 

Can you share this EA?

 

Hi Shady, thanks for the Ea and all. please tell me how i can get to setting page in the image above. i need to make the Ea open 1 trade at a time not 2 or 3. i have tried to look for this settings on the mt4, but i could not find it.

Gidday. have been away; and then i went on holiday, getting time away from the computer. sorry for no reply before now. I have been using other eas, with my own ea that i modified from original afg code, that only does the recovery strategies, works on all manual trades when they are in a loss, adds a tsl when trades are in profit, or adds an average tp and grid trades when they are in loss.

To the others using afg, there is a setting in both of my eas, and all the other afg eas, that says "MaxLot" or a word similar. change that to your highes trade size you will allow.

And if you can not monitor your eas, then, you deserve to lose your account balance. It uses Mg, And like all mgs, they are extreme risk. These eas are extreme risk. All of them require monitoring minimum 4 times in every 24 hours, including your sleeping time. especially during news weeks. You need to get up in middle of night too. You can not leave your ea run more than 4 hours without checking your account and closing any bad trades.

Do not blame the ea or coders for you losses. Take effing responsibility for your finances. If you can not watch your trades every few hours, then you need to forget about trading, and put your money into a managed fund instead, and let that person do the trading for you.

In my opinion, the reason for the eu and canadian regulators have gone down an extreme path of limiting leverage is due to micro account holders like those in soehoe, who always lose their account balances every 2 years, that has wrecked this industry for the rest of us. Stop trading micro accounts, unless you have full time to watch your trades!

try a different ea. This is not the one for you.

 

look in ea settings there is 3 settings MaxTrades.
all 3 trades are slight different strategies. You cannnot trade this ea without all 3, When 1 strategy is not confirmed and afg will open a hedge trade. If you only put 1 trade, then afg will break.

afg has 3 eas in 1, Fibonacci-Scalper, Scalper, and Trendkiller, all are 3 different eas from the orignals by Ilan and AFG coders. They may work individually, however, i have tried to use each one on their own, and it is a lot more stable with all 3 at same time.

I have attempted to combine all 3 trades or 2 trades into 1 trade, but my ea keeps breaking. So, i have left it as is with all 3 different trades.

Well, in this forum there's plenty of eas with MG that can destroy your account overnight, but not all, trust me.. And surely if it happens, the first thing to blame is the wrong money management

Anyway, the only important thing about this EA is the possibility to reverse the trades from the beginning, so the MG chains can be hedged and kept more safe.. Did you manage to code the EA that way? And did you test the EA I attached in one of my last msgs?

 

As you will know, the trades are already often "hedged". And I think I did already have a reverse option in the eas that i posted?
But i do agree that mg is unlikely to kill your account overnight, however, if you trade on every 3rd Friday, it will almost certainly, as Fridays, every 3rd one will buck the rsi strategy into hell. This strategy is flawed. It can NOT be left to trade on its own 24/5.5 unless you have it on demo.
I think a trader is very foolish to trade with this strategy without constant monitoring of the account. I have used this on live account many times, but the trades will 90/10 have a 25cent profit, but then go into losing position. So the money management is deeply flawed. This is why i like to use trail stop with this and most other scalping eas; 1) it limits the volume of trades, being a good thing, but 2) keeping a single profit trade open while market is trending in the profit direction; this also means 3) that volume of losing trades are limited at same time.

All this instability may be limited by adding filters, however, I detest all filters, as they never work all the time, AND they will ALWAYS drop same number of good signals as they filter the bad out. So... the best trading strategy is to simply keep a close eye on your trades. DO NOT leave this or any ea that does mgs, run more than 4 hours without you spending 10 - 20 minutes analysing the current markets to decide if to let it continue to trade, or to close all trades and the platform down, until markets are good again.

EAs are tools. They are not to replace a trader. A Trader uses eas to assist them in trading. DO NOT depend on them to do the trading for you. This is irresponsible, and it is only a matter of time before you blow up your account. It is due to this irresponsible trading activity that our finanacial regulators have clamped down on the leverage that brokers are allowed to offer to retail traders. For good or bad, this is how our regulators have decided to starve out the scamming brokers. In my opinion they have done this the wrong way, however, it has been caused by micro account trading, so they think that this is how they can stop micro account losses.

(In my opninion) The only way to make consistent profits with micro accounts, is to: monitor your account constantly. All strategies, including the most profitable, has periods of dd. If you are trading a micro account when this dd period occurs, you will blow it up. And if you do not expect this to happen, and do not keep making constant small withdrawals, you will not be able to recover. Part of Money Management, is to expect the best, but prepare for the worst, which includes expect that you will blow up your account. But if you have made constant withdrawals, then after you blow up your account, you will be in profit due to your witdrawals, AND you will be able to resume trading again, AFTER the dd period has stopped.
