alcazard Not sure if this is because I stopped and restarted the EA. But it has opened another level of marty, without major pip movement.

WARNING!!!!

I dont think the EA liked the on/off, it started launching more marty levels very quickly! I have stopped it and closed trades. Left a few to see if price recovers.

 

Everything closed, massive hits (high lotsize), thats the fun of testing.

New start: v1.7, H1, 9 pairs.

 

First position (of new test) opened.

 

seems bad 0.50% profit, with >10% DD
many bot with BB failed big time

 

Current open positions, I am having strange flashbacks.

 

alcazard Should I run this on Fridays? as you know, I tend not to trade/hold positions over the weekend.

 

Ok I turned off the news filter.

 

At least they are reasonable lotsizes...

I switched to H1...I think the entry logic fits it better. I got trades immediately.

As requested earlier by Wanted and I, Can you put the pair entry (28 slots) in the EA and make your choices the default? Don't worry about the backtesters...we are forward testers here..

Alc, good things to think/look into when trying to make a better entry when using RSI with BB are MORE confirmations.
By that I mean; RSI Divergence and Price Action/Candles.

As we all know, forex is not as simple as using a strategy and making millions. RSI / BB is just another strategy that shows current price 'situation' at the moment.
A pair could stay within an oversold/overbought zone for hours/days/weeks. And thats the tricky part. It's easy for me to say, but coding it is a different ball game.

I test different input parameters and adjust the step so that the EA does not keep the positions too long time.

Putting all the pairs on one chart is too much for me to do, sorry.

My tests should still take a few days, but one is doing fine.
