Can you share your news filter, I'll run a test with it. We will see the difference with and without.

I think that many readers scan SoeHoe for EA's to make money with. Some of these folks are not traders or EA builders. I think they feel they are doing the community a service to rate threads that do not share profitable and working EA's. Funny thing is they have profit staring them in the face and cannot see it or use it and because of their ignorance cause others to miss this thread.

If you read this thread carefully you will discover the exploration from this altruistic thread author reaches out to all of us to share, build and become wealthy. Simply scanning for EA's is not enough folks.

Amenothes is trading well...Estimated $234.94/Mo. using just 0.01...only seen $104.21 in DD. This is on the M30 and 28 pair ATR balanced settings w/News Filter. I am on the 28th calendar day of Forward-Testing in Demo.

Having forward tested Amenothes for close to a month, when do you plan on going live? Secondly, last time you spoke about Amenothes as good as life changer ea - does that assertion still stand and would you be in a position to share your life changer live account set file, pairs and/or profitability stats?

Thanks for reading. I cannot go live knowing that there are errors in the coding of Amenothes and there is an expiration date.

Lifechanger is not my EA. I do not have groups in that sense. I mean the ATR table has groups (median).

 

I see...interesting read on the ATR table dynamics and i think every multi currency ea trader should use it. Well not to highjack this thread but do you know of any way of backtesting multicurrency MT4 ea's like life changer to get a good set file?

I am ready to go live with this EA if I can get a version without the expiration date. I will post my results to this thread. Can somebody fix it? Forget all the bells and whistles...just get a working version of 1.72 up and running....all we need is the multiplier, close all and the initialization fixed.

Amenothes is one of the EA's that I believe in....

AND I CANNOT TRADE IT

I think the key to Amenothes is that it scans all 28 pair for a good entry point. This is why it is important to only use a fixed lot of 0.01 and a basket profit of $5.00. It has never dropped below 1.73% DD to find it's 5 bucks!

There has been a more than reasonable amount of time that has passed.

Amenothes is one of the "SuperStars" but it's errors must be fixed. Apparently everybody is "too busy" to notice and dedicate time and money to this great EA.

Presenting Amenothes written by Alcazard the Thread Author. Amenothes is able to scan 28 pair for it's opening criteria to bring the desired profit set by the user. Amenothes treats its open trades as a basket and adds orders along its journey to achieve the desired basket profit. The EA does not need Martingale but the settings are there for those of you that are martingale lovers! Every time you see the floating DD dip...just consider it a rubber band stretching....the profit will snap back shortly. While the EA is trying to find good entries from 28 pair the Float gets stronger and stronger waiting for its move to profit.

Today marks the opening day of the beginning of two forward-tests on the M30 of Amenothes. I will post the report below for all to follow along with. Sometimes the reports will post more often and other times less frequently. I embarrass myself at times with my ramblings and I hope the thread author and you folks can tolerate it. My hope is to help the readers of this thread develop their own setfiles based on the information shared in this Forward Test.

Amenothes is installed on my VPS as there an initialization problem within the code causing ghost orders to execute when the platform is shut down and rebooted. The VPS is always on. The News Filter does not seem to cause ghost orders. Instead of waiting for the fix, I simply have gone ahead and started to publish this test.

I am using the "ATR Table" as you can surly understand that the range of different symbols varies widely. There is not a "one-size-fits-all" pip step and pip multiplier. For the ATR Table: Click Here

I have attached a handy little indicator named "Basket Stats". I had the original MQ4 file from the author and a kind coder expanded it's capacity to 30 pair. This is an exclusive to this thread and the first time publicly I have posted it...ENJOY!

I also have attached a nifty equity monitor (indicator). I would never be able to track the max DD seen without it.

First blood has been realized in a little over 3.5 hrs on the M30 with a grid of entries with 0.01 lotsize (no marty) looking for $4.00. The market wants it's revenge!

SIX pairs were used to get the velocity on this battle. EURUSD, EURCHF, USDJPY (2), AUDUSD, NZDUSD, NZDJPY. The USDJPY was doubled up to get some speed netting a total exposure of 0.07.
