I've been playing with Grid Average Pro and am very impressed with the results.

As you know recently, the GBP/USD has strengthen quite crazily especially during 11 Jan to 24 Jan with largely bullish day candles.

Most martingale EAs would have busted your account if you are shorting the pair. This can happen if you are "hedging" with a BUY only and SELL only EA running simultaneously. This happened to me and I got burnt as a result.

Now, I will be sharing what I feel, in my opinion is a setting that I've experimented and feel comfortable with.

For Grid Average Pro, I use a high multiplier (1.6x - 1.8x), a low Take Profit level (3pips - 5 pips) and a reasonable Pip Step (10-11 pips). The whole idea is to get out of a trade as fast as possible even if the profit is small. When a strong trend happens, the best scenario is to get out on the 1st or 2nd pullback/retracement. If your multiplier is small and your TP is large, you might require a significant pullback which can be hard to come by.

This is entirely my view and by no means a recommendation to you. I'm still doing my own forward testing and you should do yours too to determine what works best for you.
